Engine stand VT600

Made an engine stand for a VT600 (VLX600) engine. With this stand it is much easier to clean and paint the engine.

 This is the engine from my current VT.

 Shot peening all the covers and painted the rest of the engine black.

 And this was the result, an engine which is as good as new.

Één van mijn aller eerste projecten. Een Yamaha XVS1100 Dragstar. Dit is een project uit 2011, toen nog thuis in de garage.

 Zo zag de motor eruit bij aankoop:

Deze motor is ongeveer voor de helft gedemonteerd geweest, waarbij alles is nagelopen, schoongemaakt, gepolijst of gespoten. In plaats van gewoon zwart is hij in zwart metallic gespoten. Verder is de motor maximaal verlaagd, is het stuur vervangen, is er een side mount gemonteerd en nog wat kleintje dingen aangepast.

NIEUW PROJECT

Start van een nieuw project. Dit gaat een cafe racer worden. Verder zal de motor gebruikt gaan worden voor dagelijks gebruik.

De motor is gekocht verschrikkelijke (mooie) special paint.

Hier zal helaas niets van behouden blijven. Het begin is inmiddels ook al gemaakt. Het stuur is vervangen voor clip-ons en er is een nieuw kont gemonteerd. De motor staat er nu zo bij:

Zodra er weer updates zijn zal ik deze gelijk plaatsen.
